Raised across Accra Newtown, Nima, and North Kaneshie, he draws inspiration from the city’s street culture, rhythms, and everyday realities that shaped who he is. Alongside his artistic journey, he pursued academics with the same drive earning his BSc in Marketing from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), completing in 2024. Since committing fully to music in 2019, Joey has built a sound defined by versatility and inspired melodies, while staying deeply rooted in his Ghanaian identity. His music moves seamlessly between party anthems, introspective storytelling, and culturally charged bangers energetic yet emotionally grounded. At the heart of it all is a bold and unwavering vision to represent Accra, Ghana, and Africa on the world stage, powered by the limitless creativity of African youth.
