Ticket Sales Rules

1. Ticket Availability

Tickets for Lights of Africa events are available through the official Platform only. Tickets purchased from unauthorized third parties may be invalid and will not be honored at the venue.

2. Ticket Types

Rising Stage Tickets: For Rising Stage talent discovery events.
Finals Tickets: For seasonal finals events.
Starlight Gala Tickets: For the Starlight Gala season finale.
Tour Tickets: For post-competition tour events.

3. Purchase Process

Tickets are purchased online via the Platform using Hubtel payment gateway.
Payment methods accepted: Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo), Visa/Mastercard.
A confirmation email with a QR code e-ticket is sent upon successful payment.
Maximum 10 tickets per transaction.

4. QR Code E-Tickets

Each ticket includes a unique QR code for venue entry.
QR codes are single-use and validated at the venue entrance.
Duplicate or counterfeit QR codes will be rejected.
Keep your QR code secure — do not share screenshots publicly.

5. Pricing

Ticket prices are displayed on the event page and include all applicable taxes. Prices may vary by event type and seating category. We reserve the right to adjust prices for future events.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Event cancellation: Full refund processed within 14 business days.
Event rescheduling: Tickets remain valid for the new date, or a full refund is available.
User cancellation: Refund requests accepted up to 48 hours before the event. A 10% processing fee may apply.
No-show: No refund for unused tickets.

7. Resale Prohibition

Reselling tickets at prices above the original purchase price is prohibited. Tickets found to be resold may be cancelled without refund.

8. Venue Entry

Ticket holders must present a valid QR code and photo ID at the venue. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who fails to comply with venue rules or poses a safety risk.
